Roborovski Hamster
Roborovski Hamster is the smallest and fastest dwarf hamster you will ever see. They can run more than a 100 miles in single night. If you have ever seen Robo hamster in the pet shop, you will notice that they are always full of energy,running on the wheel. If you want to buy a super active hamster – this one is the best choice.
Robo Hamster measures about 2 inches and because of their speed and size, it’s not easy to handle or tame them as other species. The homeland of Roborovski Hamsters is Kazakhstan,Russia and China. They live in the wild,eat fruits,vegetable and small insects. The average lifespan of Roborovski Hamster is 3-4 years.
In the wild, robo dwarf hamsters live in groups. When you keep them as pets, you must give them enough space to prevent fights and injuries. You should also never house a robo hamster with any other species of hamster.
Roborovski Dwarf Hamster Colors
There are only two colors of robo dwarf hamsters available in the stores. Read some useful information about them below.
Agouti – light brown/beige color with gray roots. Some people describe this color as sandy. This is the most normal color or robos. Agouti robo hamsters have lovely white eyebrows.
White-face – this one looks like agouti robo hamster except the face – it’s white. Other colors may be available but are found very rare at breeders shop.
Roborovski Dwarf Hamster Care
Caring for the robo dwarf hamsters is absolutely the same as any other hamsters. If you have the right supplies, including proper cage, wheel, bedding and so on, feed your hamster with the right diet and keep the cage clean, your little friend will be happy.
